Melissa Symphonic Showcase
Dates: April 17 – April 18, 2026
Time: 8am - 6pm
Format: Full Concert Band Entries (60-Minute On-Stage Blocks)
Join us in Melissa, Texas for the third-annual Melissa Symphonic Showcase in the newly constructed 1,000-seat Melissa Performance Hall! Each ensemble will have a 60-minute time block on stage for your warm-up and performance. This is a recording opportunity that will be used for TMEA Honor Band Competition and ATSSB OPS recordings. All ensembles will be adjudicated by a TMAA judge for feedback, if wanted.
Entry fees will be $450 for each performance slot. There is a total limit of 9 bands per day for this event.
Scott Probst Audio will be providing recording services for the 2026 Melissa Symphonic Showcase.
The Melissa Symphonic Showcase is on the approved list for ATSSB’s Outstanding Performance Series recording sites.

Join us in Melissa, Texas, on September 26, 2026, for the 4th annual Melissa Marching Showcase in the new 10,000-seat Coach Kenny Deel Stadium! The 5A/6A UIL Area Format will be used for this competition, along with guard comments during both the preliminary and final competitions.
New for 2026
The top 12 schools will advance to the finals. We will follow the 5A/6A Area Format for this contest. More details to follow soon!
