Join us in Melissa, Texas, on September 26, 2026, for the 4th annual Melissa Marching Showcase in the new 10,000-seat Coach Kenny Deel Stadium! The 5A/6A UIL Area Format will be used for this competition, along with guard comments during both the preliminary and final competitions.
New for 2026
The top 12 schools will advance to the finals. We will follow the 5A/6A Area Format for this contest. More details to follow soon!

Join us in Melissa, Texas, on October 3, 2026, for the 1st ever Small School Contest in the new 10,000-seat Coach Kenny Deel Stadium! The traditional UIL Area Format will be used for this competition, along with guard comments during both the preliminary and final competitions.

Melissa Symphonic Showcase
Join us in Melissa, Texas, on Friday & Saturday, April 25-26, 2025, for the second-annual Melissa Symphonic Showcase in the newly constructed 1,000-seat Melissa Performance Hall! Each ensemble will have a 1-hour time block on stage. This includes your warm-up and performance. This is a recording competition that will be used for TMEA Honor Band Competition and ATSSB OPS recordings. All ensembles will be adjudicated by a TMAA judge and the top 3 ensembles will be recognized.
Entry fees will be $450 for each performance slot. There is a total limit of 12 bands for each day.
David Burks Audio will be providing recording services for the 2025 Melissa Symphonic Showcase.
