2027 Melissa ISD Symphonic Showcase
(High School and Middle School Bands, Jazz, Orchestra, and Mariachi Welcome!)
Dates: April 22 - April 24, 2027
Time: 8am - 7pm
Format: Full Concert Band Entries (60-Minute On-Stage Blocks)
Join us in Melissa, Texas for the 3rd Annual Melissa Symphonic Showcase in the newly constructed 1,000-seat Melissa Performance Hall! Each ensemble will have a 60-minute time block on stage for your set-up, warm-up and performance. This is a recording opportunity that will be used for TMEA Honor Band Competition and ATSSB OPS recordings. All ensembles will be adjudicated by a TMAA judge for feedback, if wanted.
Entry fees will be $450 for each performance slot. There is a total limit of 9 bands per day for this event.
David Burks Audio will be providing recording services for the 2027 Melissa Symphonic Showcase.
The Melissa Symphonic Showcase is on the approved list for ATSSB’s Outstanding Performance Series recording sites.

Future 1A - 4A Marching Showcase: October 2, 2027
Time: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Format: Full Marching Band Field Performances (Prelims & Finals, Area Judging Format)
Join us in Melissa, Texas for the 5th Annual Melissa ISD and H&H Brook Mays Marching Showcase at the state-of-the-art, 10,000-seat Coach Kenny Deel Stadium! Each participating ensemble will perform on high-quality artificial turf with top-tier press box amenities and dedicated warm-up areas. This event serves as an ideal performance opportunity to gain valuable field experience ahead of UIL region and area contests.
The UIL Area Format will be used for this competition, along with dedicated guard comments during both the preliminary and final competitions. All ensembles will be adjudicated by a panel of premier TMAA and national judges, receiving detailed audio commentary and constructive score sheets.
Entry fee is $450 and performance slot limits will be announced prior to open sign-ups. Professional high-definition multi-cam video and high-fidelity audio recording services will be provided on-site at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium.
