2025 Showcase is Saturday, September 27, 2025
Judging will follow the 2025 UIL Area 4A/5A/6A format. The brass and woodwind judge will flip between prelims and finals; the percussion judge and the two visual judges will remain the same in both prelims and finals.
Contest Schedule & Performance Information
We are excited to share the schedule for our upcoming contest! This year’s lineup features multiple bands competing in different contests and a strong group of small schools, including some of the most competitive programs in our area. To ensure fairness and organization, all small schools will perform concurrently, followed by the large schools.

Top 4 Small Schools Announced by 3:00 PM
These bands will only be scored against others in their classification.Advancement to Finals
If two small schools advance to the overall top 12, the first two exhibition slots will be skipped. Finals exhibition will then begin at 7:15 PM.Finals Start Time
Regardless of classification, the first finals band in the top 12 will begin at the originally scheduled time.

Melissa Symphonic Showcase
Join us in Melissa, Texas, on Friday & Saturday, April 25-26, 2025, for the second-annual Melissa Symphonic Showcase in the newly constructed 1,000-seat Melissa Performance Hall! Each ensemble will have a 1-hour time block on stage. This includes your warm-up and performance. This is a recording competition that will be used for TMEA Honor Band Competition and ATSSB OPS recordings. All ensembles will be adjudicated by a TMAA judge and the top 3 ensembles will be recognized.
Entry fees will be $450 for each performance slot. There is a total limit of 12 bands for each day.
