We use Presto Assistant as a data management and financial tracking tool for the band. You can log onto Presto www.presto-assistant.com at any time to see the status of your student’s financial account. Statements will be sent out monthly with your current balance.

All-Region, Area, & State Auditions
This is an individual competition. Members of the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band are required to audition, while Concert Band and Cardinal Band members are strongly encouraged to participate. Audition music is made available to all students beginning in July, and tryouts take place in November.
Students who pass the first round - consisting of two phases - will perform with the All-Region Band. Those who advance through the second round earn "Area" status and will compete in January for a spot in the prestigious All-State Band.
All-State musicians convene in San Antonio each February to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) convention. These ensembles represent the top 0.5% of high school band members in the state. Earning a place in the All-State Band is the highest individual honor a high school musician in Texas can achieve.
